Based on true events, “Tic” is a short live-action film about an online-shopping fanatic and devoted product reviewer named Alan. He also happens to be a serial killer, or, at least pretends to be when reviewing products like shovels, trash bags, and steel locks. Alan's dark, humorous product reviews are discovered and poured over by Detective Backman, an old-dog in the force and stranger to a world of technology and political correctness, who realizes his time might indeed be up.
